We Serve

We move from advocacy to action through our service in the community

SCCORE was built on a philosophy of service expressed by the founding members. Our members pursue a dual mission: to create a meaningful and productive life for themselves and their families while giving their best energies to improve the community around them.

Because of this service mission, SCCORE staff  and volunteers have participated in food drives, clothing drives, winter shelter initiatives and the Port Huron Area Schools Lunch Buddy program.  Our cornerstone service project  is our Adopt a School initiative.

SCCORE Adopted Cleveland Elementary 2018-19. And plan to, also,   Adopt Woodrow Wilson :

What was included in the Adopt a School Initiative?
